Nepal Police Club lifted the title of the Stag Global Champions Table Tennis League Season-2 on Saturday.
The Police club won the title by defeating the host Stag Champions Table Tennis Academy 8-4 on in the final held at the National Table Tennis Training Center in Lanchaur.
The league included competition in five events, consisting of two men/women singles and mixed doubles. Police collected eight points needed for victory from four events. Police are the former runners-up while Stag had finished third in the last edition.
Defending champion AVM Table Tennis Club did not participate this time.
Along with the title, Police received a cash prize of Rs 200,000 and Stag Rs 100,000. APF Club and Newcomer Team Yale Table Tennis finished third. Both received Rs 50,000 in cash prize each.
