Nepal has secured victory in the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) U-20 Volleyball Championship.
Nepal defeated the Maldives 3-0 in straight sets in the match held in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Tuesday.
Nepal trashed Maldives by 25-5 in the first set, followed by 25-12 hammering in the second and by 25-20 in third set.
With this victory, Nepal has added 6 points from three matches. Earlier in the first match, Nepal defeated Sri Lanka 3-0 in straight set. Nepal, however, conceded a defeat to Uzbekistan 3-1 in its second match.
The Maldives is at the bottom without any points after losing all three matches.
A total of six teams are competing in the event. The top two teams will be vying in the final after the league stage matches.
Nepal is scheduled to play against Kyrgyzstan on Thursday, October 10.
