Government Pledges to Hold 10th Nat'l Games on Time

The Government of Nepal has accorded top priority for the upcoming National Games.

In this context, Member-Secretary of the National Sports Council, Tanka Lal Ghising, said preparations for the 10th National Games are underway with top priority.     
He made the remarks in course of an onsite visit to the Karnali Province Stadium.

Ghising shared that preparations for the 10th National Games are underway as per the decision of the 118th meeting of the NSC, the sports governing body of Nepal. 

Ghising lauded the activities being carried out by the Karnali province government for construction of infrastructures.     
Out of 36 games included in the National Games, 24 would be organized in Karnali province, mentioned Ghising.     
Similarly, Social Development Minister of Karnali Province, Ghan Shyam Bhandari, reportedly said they have been carrying out activities in order to organise the 10th National Games on time.     
The 10th National Games is scheduled to be held in Surkhet from April 5.
